Directions from the M5

Take Junction 13 STROUD, Follow A419 to CIRENCESTER This road will take you into STROUD- carry on along the A419 - CIRENCESTER Follow signs for THRUPP, BRIMSCOMBE, CHALFORD

Approx 1 mile pass CHALFORD signpost on LEFT, church on LEFT (blue railings) turn LEFT up the side of the church, Old Neighbourhood, Turn RIGHT at staggered crossroads on the hill sign-posted CHALFORD HILL, FRANCE LYNCH, BOURNES GREEN

Keep on main road-at crossroads - straight across into BURCOMBE ROAD at T-junction (playing field in front of you) turn LEFT carry on along this road for approx. 1 mile (road becomes narrow)

At T-junction (hedge in front of you) turn RIGHT sign-posted AVENIS GREEN carry on along this road approx. ¼ mile signpost on LEFT Ridings Farm just past this Stone House and bungalow (with post box outside also on the LEFT) track between these houses leads down to Pontings Farm which is approx. ¼ mile at the bottom of the lane.

A419 CIRENCESTER (approx 25miles) Follow A419 towards STROUD (approx 12miles) Petrol Station on LEFT Carry on, Air field on LEFT Carry on, down COWCOMBE HILL into CHALFORD pass Chalford Chairs on Left. At crossroads sign-posted CHALFORD HILL, BROWNSHILL, SKAITESHILL turn RIGHT into OLD NEIGHBOURHOOD (church with blue railings at the side of this road)

Turn RIGHT into ABNASH at staggered crossroads at the top of the hill sign-posted CHALFORD HILL, FRANCE LYNCH, BOURNES GREEN. Keep on main road at Crossroads - Straight across into BURCOMBE ROAD at T-junction (playing field in front of you) turn LEFT into HIGHFIELD WAY carry on along this road for approx 1 mile (road becomes very narrow) at T-junction (hedge in front of you).

Turn RIGHT into HILLSIDE sign-posted AVENIS GREEN carry on along this road approx I/4 mile signpost on LEFT Ridings Farm just past this Stone house and bungalow (post box outside also on the LEFT) track between these houses leads down to PONTINGS FARM which in approx ¼ mile at the bottom of the lane.
